The Department of Management Science at the University of South Asia (USA) apprehends the significance of providing research-based higher degree programs to enhance its program portfolio. Our purpose is to offer an application, that’s both educationally sound and directly applicable to future senior academicians, managers, and executives. The Doctor of Philosophy in Management Science [Ph.D. (MS)] at the University of South Asia is a research based program that equips students to construct competency in management and to familiarize them with the diffusion of research areas. The Ph.D. degree program focuses on key elements of modern enterprise administration in terms of Finance, Management and Marketing. This program is designed to put together graduates to perform required managerial and research based activities each inside the countrywide and international institutions. This program is intended to foster research talents among business graduates. Its miles aimed toward those students who need to proceed with their profession into a commercial enterprise, management, and allied fields via advanced stage research work. We purpose at improving university students’ knowledge and talents concerning management specializations while broadening their information about management and strengthening their important wondering talents. It aspires to develop students’ knowledge of Management specializations with an emphasis on cutting-edge research within their selected specialization area, for this reason permitting them to use their understanding and capabilities related to research and to similarly strengthen those abilities via practical research work. It may provide a stepping stone to a profession in commercial enterprise institutions, or it could be a prerequisite to beginning Ph.D. moreover, it is also extensively recognized as the maximum appropriate instructional qualification for future executives and senior managers.
Through this program, University attempts to create knowledge in the field of Management Science by equipping the students with appropriate research skills enabling them to pursue their career both in industry and research. This program empowers students to create and disseminate knowledge and provide professional advice. University is focused to provide quality in academia by utilizing state-of-the-art learning environment and high academic rigor.

The students having strong demonstrated pursuit for PhD degree, but their CGPA is below 3.00 (out of 4.0 in the semester system) or Second Division (in the annual system) in the most recent degree obtained, may be admitted to a PhD program fulfilling the following requirements:
ii) The FRAC is satisfied that the applicant’s knowledge of primary area (level 7) has sufficiently prepared him or her to undertake the course of studies of the doctoral program.

The applicant shall apply in response to advertisement for admission on the prescribed form along with a proposed research idea/statement of purpose to the admission office along with two recommendation letters or the names of two referees from relevant field, used to ascertain the preparedness and interest of the applicant.
Faculty Research Advisory Committee (FRAC) shall scrutinize the applications duly assessing the academic qualifications, work experience, and research publication and generate a list of eligible applicants based on following criteria:

PhD graduates from the Faculty of Management Sciences at the University of South Asia can pursue a wide range of advanced job titles in the tech industry, including but not limited to:

The standard time frame for completing the PhD degree is three years, with a maximum allowed duration of seven calendar years to meet all degree requirements, including coursework, research, and dissertation defense.
Candidates must hold an M.Phil./MS or equivalent degree with a CGPA of ≥ 3.00/4.00 or OPM ≥ 70% under the semester system, or first division in the annual system. They must also pass the University/Departmental Ph.D. Admission Test with at least 70% marks or have a GRE subject test score of at least 60%. Additionally, candidates must submit a ‘Proposed Research Idea’ and pass an interview.
To complete the PhD program, students must complete 18 credit hours of coursework in the first year, pass a comprehensive examination, complete 30 credit hours of research, maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0, publish at least one research paper in an HEC-recognized journal, have their dissertation evaluated by two foreign experts, and successfully defend their dissertation in an open defense.
The program consists of core and elective courses. The core courses include “Philosophy of Management & Organizations” and “Advanced Data Analytical Techniques,” each worth 3 credit hours. Elective courses are offered in three areas: Finance, Management, and Marketing, each course being 3 credit hours.
The PhD in Management Sciences program at the University of South Asia requires a total of 54 credit hours, which includes 6 credit hours of core courses, 12 credit hours of elective courses, and 36 credit hours dedicated to the thesis.
